I hope you had a great weekend!! We only have a few more weeks left so please help me in encouraging them to continue to do their very best.  Also, quite a few of my homeroom students are out of paper and supplies.  Please ask them what they need so they can continue to be prepared for class. 
Here are a few announcements for this week:

The school play will be May 8th and the cost is $2.00 per student. Many students in my homeroom have already paid. Thank you!

PTO Program - "Cyber Bullying, What Parents Need to Know" - Thursday May 7th

Huntsville Space and Rocket Center Field Trip- Monday May 11th:

Field Day for K-5 - 6th Grade: Tuesday May 12th 1:00 p.m. till 2:30 p.m.

Spring Band Concert: Tuesday May 12th

Elementary Honors Assembly K-5th Grade: Wednesday May 13th at 9:00 a.m. in Cafetorium.

6th Grade Graduation:
Each parent should have received a letter regarding our 6th grade graduation. Although graduation is not until May 21st, we are busy preparing for this exciting event. A letter was sent out asking for specific information. This information should have been returned by April 10th. We still have no information on many of our students. It is critical that it be turned in immediately. We want this to be something you can all be proud to be a part of and that cannot be done without your information.


6th Grade Graduation: Thursday May 21st at 9:00 a.m. in the Cafetorium.  Invitations were given out today.  Each student should have 4.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I am sorry if I missed your email this past week.  My computer crashed, but I am now back up and running!!  :)

April 24 - State Art show
May 1-2 state softball tournament
May 8 - High school play for students 10am admission is $2. Dinner theatre is at 6pm $15 tickets are in the office
May 11th - Field trip to Huntsville
May 12 - Spring Band concert and Field Day
May 13 Elementary Honors Day 1-5 9am
May 14 High school Honors Day 7-11 9am
May 18 - AR pool party
May 21 - 6th Grade Graduation 9am

We are still collecting cans for the recycling week.

The dinner theatre date has been changed to May 8th at  6:30.  The cost is $15 per person for the dinner and the play.  Our students have been invited to attend the play that morning at 10:00am.  The cost for our student is $2 per person.  You can send in the money anytime before that date.
