Here are a few announcements for this week and the next upcoming weeks:

Wednesday, October 1st is picture day for 6th grade!! Be sure to bring your smile!! :)

October 6th - is Teacher In-Service day. Not school for students. Enjoy your day!!

October 13th-15th if Fall Break

October 23rd is the Fall Festival. There is a note going home about it.  5th and 6th grades are doing the country store again this year.  If you would be willing to make goodies, make a craft or work our booth please let me know.  My homeroom will have 4 - 30 minute time slots to work that night.  If you would like to volunteer to work please let me know.  Here are the times that are available:

6:00-6:30
6:30-7:00
7:00-7:30
7:30-8:00

October 27-31 is homecoming week. Please be on the If lookout for more information on it.

September 22-26 and STUDENT OF THE MONTH!!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!!

Here are a few announcements for this week:

The Varsity Cheerleaders are selling chances to “cheer for a quarter”. Each chance is $1.00 and your child’s name will be put into a drawing for the chance to cheer for one quarter at the football game on the night of October 3. The cheerleaders will collect the chance money on that Friday, October 3, so if you wish to participate you have until then to turn your money in. 

We are starting the Chocolate Sale, which biggest fundraiser of the year!! I am sending home a form today with all of the information about the chocolate sale!! Please try to sell as much as you can. They are asking that each family sell at least one case. The Band is also having a fundraiser selling cases of bottled Pepsi products. They are $20 per case and contains 24-24oz bottle of your choice of soft drink. I am sending a flyer home that gives more details.

There will be NO school on Monday, October 6. This is a teacher in-service day and all the teachers will be at a conference in Montgomery.

Fall Break is October 13-15

September 15-19

I hope everyone had a great weekend!! Here are a few announcements for this week:

Grandparents Day is this Friday.  Students should be checkout through their homeroom teacher in the lunchroom.  They are free to go and enjoy the rest of the day.  The boys should wear khaki pants and polo/dress shirt (red, white or blue) and girls should wear dress/skirt in red, white or blue.  The program will start at 11:00 am in the cafeteria. 

PTO Fundraiser - Spirit Cards - On Sale for $15 - The homeroom that has the most sales will be awarded a Pizza Party. Please support this important fundraiser.

Be sure to return your signed folder by Wednesday. If there are any grades 70 or below, you need to also sign the individual papers.

Grandparents Day program is September 19th at 11:00am.  All grandparents are invited to attend the program.  The student can also check out with their grandparents after the program to enjoy the day.

Please let me know if there is something specific that you would like to see added and I will get with Coach Allen to see if we can offer the item. Please note that the booster club will receive 10 percent of all purchases.

NEW Traffic route:

If you come behind the hospital each morning, please go

to the light at 231 and Franklin and come to the school drive on 231.  The police

will be directing you to go through hospital parking lot or go back to Franklin.

Tickets will be given if caught coming that way in the morning from 7:00 to 8:30.

All traffic will exit behind the hospital.
