The Powder Puff game is this Thursday please bring $2.00 for admission by Wednesday.

Please begin collecting plastics and turn them in next week.

We need paper towels!!!!!  One homework pass for 1 roll of paper towel.

April 9-13

I hope everyone had a great Easter!! 

Here are a few announcements this week:

- Friday school will dismiss at 11:50. We should be done with testing around 9:30

-Go Green Week is April 23-27. Our class is collecting plastics!

-SAT testing is this week.  Please remind your child to get a good night rest and do their very best!!

- Congratulations to the following  District Art Show winners:  1^st place-Sydney Scott, Sara Garrott, Abby Ford, Mrs. Keesee’s Class, Jeffery Knotts, Will Price, Tre Holmes, Emmy Stevens and Jensen Garrett;  2^nd place-Cade Dendy, Jaylee Price, Sophie Hollis, Lawson Hipps, Kase Chirico, Jensen Garrett with 3 ribbons, Character Ed Group Project, and Angie Lewis; 3^rd place-Adrienne Giglio, Mrs. Sunday’s Class, Charlee Sanders, Raegan Brown, Kase Chirico, Jackson Thomas, Miranda Black, Cason Murphree, Jensen Garrett, Rachel Riley, and Wood Jinright’s Group; Honorable Mention- Ava Leverett, Brady Williamson with two ribbons, Conner Thrash, Anna Claire Dorrill, Sophie Hollis, Dawsin Grieff, Sage Keesee, Mrs. Campbell’s Boys Group Project, Gracie Blair, Miranda Black, Shelby Renfroe, and Grace Capps.  First and second place winners will go to State.

April 2 - 6

I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break!!

Here are a few announcements  for this week:

JV and Varsity Cheerleaders:  There will be a meeting to be fitted for uniforms on Wednesday, April 4^th, 3:30 in the learning lab.  You must be present, but parents are not allowed.

The District Art Show is Wednesday at Lakeside.  All art project that won 1^st and 2^nd place need to have their art into Mrs. Goff by tomorrow.

The Blood Drive is next Monday from 8:00 until.

Friday is a school holiday.

Also, if any parent would like to bring snacks for SAT week next week please email let me know.

ATTENTION PARENTS.......

The 12.1 and 12.2 quiz that was planned for tomorrow for both 5th and 6th grade has been cancelled. We will take it after we come back from spring break.

March 19-23

Here are a few announcements this week :

--The Yearbook Staff will begin selling yearbooks Monday, March 12^th.  Cost is $50.00.

 

 --The Art Show will be judged on Wednesday, March 21 and will remain on display until Friday, March 23^rd.

 

--Spring Break is March 26-30.

March 12-16

I hope that everyone had a great weekend. Here are a few updates for this week: 

-- The Tech Trot will be held Saturday, March 17^th beginning at 8:00 a.m.  Come out and support the Technology Department.  Volunteers are needed at the water stations on the race route. 

--Pre-registration forms for the 2012-2013 school year went out to parents Friday. Please check with your child to make sure you have one or come by the school office for a replacement if you do not.  This, along with a volunteer form, need to be back to homeroom teachers by March 15^th.

--The Yearbook Staff will begin selling yearbooks Monday, March 12^th.  Cost is $50.00.

--Please put on your blogs that all art entries for Art Show must be turned into Mrs. Goff and Mrs. Givens by Wednesday, March 14^th.  The Art Show will be judged on Wednesday, March 21 and will remain on display until Friday, March 23^rd.

--The following is arrangements for Mrs. Shirley:  visitation is Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 and funeral will be Wednesday at 4:00 at Dillard Funeral Home.

School will dismiss early (11:50) on Friday for the Baseball Tournament. There is NO afterschool Friday.
